Our Services

Building or renovating a home is a significant investment, one that deserves careful thought and professional guidance. While it may seem easier to go straight to a contractor, doing so often leads to unforeseen costs, design compromises, and time-consuming fixes. An architectural designer brings clarity and structure to the process by transforming ideas into buildable plans, coordinating technical details, and ensuring that every decision supports your vision, budget, and lifestyle. From concept to construction, we help you avoid costly surprises and achieve a home that’s truly cohesive, functional, and enduring.

Schematic Design

The first phase of the architectural process, where your ideas take shape through sketches and conceptual drawings. During this stage, we explore layout options, scale, and the overall look and feel of your project to establish a clear design direction before moving into more detailed development. 3D massing models are built at this time.

Design Development

The next phase refines the approved concept into a more detailed and defined design. In this stage, we focus on materials, dimensions, and systems to ensuring that the project’s aesthetics, function, and budget align before moving into technical documentation. Preliminary quotes occur at the end of this phase with rough drawings in hand.

Construction Documents

The most important phase translates the refined design into precise technical drawings and specifications used for permitting and construction. This phase ensures every detail is clearly defined so builders can execute the project accurately and efficiently. These finished plans are ready for final cost estimation and await permit approval.

Construction Administration

Construction Administration is the final phase, where we oversee the building process to ensure the design is executed as intended. We coordinate with contractors, review progress, and address any on-site questions or adjustments. At this point, our purpose is to help the project stay on track, on budget, and true to the vision.
